His career started in the 2003 a year after the Chitungwiza Arts Centre opened. He started off washing and polishing sculptures made by his young brother Noah. Under Noah’s guidance, Masvikeni learnt to curve stone sculptures for 2 years before going solo.
Masvikeni mainly does abstract family stone sculpture themes when sculpting. He normally uses springstone and opal stone. He exhibits most of his works at the Chitungwiza Arts Centre where many international buyers collect from.
